Any of these can lead to a leader’s lost confidence. Just like the economy rises and falls on confidence, so does the success of a leader. The question is - how is your confidence today?
For me, I ask this every morning. I have been asking the following question that came from my time with Dr. Henry Cloud. The question is this:
Do you have the courage to meet the demands of reality?
If you do, then you can build your confidence enough to execute what is in front of you. If you do not have the courage then your confidence is shot and I suggest you get some time with some key advisers to help you process what is in front of you.
I would caution you on one thing. Confidence is not built off of circumstance. Confidence comes from the inside. If you are putting your confidence solely in circumstance then your confidence index will most likely stay low during this time in our economy. Yet, if your confidence is built upon who you are and what you are called to do then your confidence has a better chance of maintaining while you handle the circumstances of today.
Friends, get it back. Ask yourself if you have the courage and then spend the time to get your confidence to the appropriate levels.

Wow!!
Just what i need in this time. This message is powerful. I love the part abourt basing your confidence on who you are, becuase we are the image of Christ, embassadors filled with his Spirit, therefore we can do anything through Him!!
We can restore our confidence thrgouh God’s gift to us we just need to unwrap it and embrace it. Sometimes we put this gift on the shelf, like unwanted gifts we get from our grandmas. Yet the HOly Spirit is the most powerful gift we could ever recieve, and we should never let it collect dust!!
Thankyou loved this article, as well as the last one. Very relevant and practical.

Hey Jeremie,
Great blog. Without confidence it is very hard to lead. As I deal with people daily it is obvious we have an epidemic of insecurity. Insecurity will kill confidence and one’s ability to lead well. Our confidence comes from our identity that is in Christ. God desires for us to soar, yet we need to believe that we can.
keep soaring Brother

Thanks again Jeremie…
I really agree, confidence came from the inside, so we should prepare ourselves and equip ourselves to increase our confidence level…

Great article. It goes without saying that without confidence you won’t be able to decide efficiently. Being anxious paralyses, often leading to a standstill. And standing still kills businesses.
